Imagine You were born in a world with Just Mac computers.
In this world you would be forgiven for thinking that Macs are the only way, in the same way people say I pads when they mean tables, ipods when the mean mp3 player etc . . .
I bring this up because its worse to be in a world/ frame of reference that is not aware of its limitations or lack of alternatives, than a world that acknowledges its limitations even though it may not have better solutions.
For me thats how language could be viewed as a tool/ technology that is incredible yet with clear limitations so that way when we come across obstacles in communicating we don't confuse the limitations of language with the limitation of actual possibilities...
